Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to provide a card on file?
Yes, a card is required on file for security purposes. It may be charged if items are missing, damaged, not ready for pickup, or returned late.
What happens if I cancel my order?
If you cancel within 30 days of your event, the full security deposit is non-refundable. We recommend confirming your plans early to avoid cancellation fees.
When is payment due?
All orders must be paid in full by the day of delivery. We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards.
Do you offer delivery and pickup?
Yes, delivery and pickup services are available. All deliveries are curbside or door-to-door only, and fees are based upon your location.
Where will my equipment be placed during delivery?
Items are delivered as close as safely possible to where our truck can park. If you've rented a tent, equipment will be placed underneath it when possible.
How should I prepare items for pickup?
All equipment must be restacked the same way it was delivered. Tables and chairs should be taken down and organized to avoid additional charges.
What is the delivery timeframe?
We provide a minimum 4-hour delivery window. Deliveries are often scheduled the day before your event and cannot be changed during the week of your event.
What am I responsible for during the rental period?
Once your items are delivered, you are responsible for all rented equipment. Be sure to check quantities at delivery and report any issues immediately.
How far in advance should I book my rentals?
We recommend booking as early as possible, especially during busy seasons like graduation. Availability becomes very limited by late April for early June events.
How do I choose the right tent size?
A good rule of thumb is to plan seating for about half of your total guest count, since guests typically arrive and leave at different times. For more information, please refer to our Seating Capacity by Tent Size Chart in our Tent Size and Seating Guide.
How many people can your tents accommodate?
Tent capacity depends on size. A 20 ft. wide tent can seat up to 100 guests, while larger tents can accommodate 200 or more. Extra features like dance floors will reduce capacity. For more information, please refer to our Seating Capacity by Tent Size Chart in our Tent Size and Seating Guide.
What equipment should I consider renting?
Common rentals include tents, tables, chairs, table covers, and trash containers. You may also want lighting or food service equipment, depending on your event.
How much dance floor space do I need?
Plan for about one-third of your total guests dancing at any given time to determine the right dance floor size.
Are there requirements for tent installation?
Yes, tents must be secured with stakes, and all underground utilities must be marked before installation. The setup cannot proceed without proper preparation.
Do I need to mark underground utilities?
Yes, all utilities--including sprinkler and septic systems--must be clearly marked in advance. At least 72 hours' notice is required for us to contact MISS DIG.
Do I need to prepare the site before installation?
Yes, the area must be clear of obstacles like branches and wires. You'll also need to provide a site map and mark the tent location or be present during setup.
Can the tent be moved after installation starts?
No, once installation begins, the tent location cannot be changed. Please confirm placement beforehand.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Tents can only be installed and removed in dry conditions. They are temporary structures and should not be used during severe weather.
Are you responsible for weather-related damage or injuries?
No, we are not liable for damage or injuries caused by natural events such as wind, rain, or storms. We are also not responsible for damage to underground irrigation systems.
